You can decorate your ceremony and reception site even if you are
on a budget - this is especially true if you have time to make your
own decorations!
Here are some ideas to get you started. |

Attach bows or silk flowers
to the pews in the chapel. |

Gather swags of greenery on church railings. |
|
Place flat backed hanging baskets at
pew ends and fill with flowers or greenery. |

Use ficus trees with white twinkling
lights. |

Use battery powered twinkling lights
in your altar piece or table center pieces. |

Attach greenery with white
tulle to chair backs or columns |

Float candles in decorative bowls of
water on table mirrors. |

Collect wedding photos from your parents
and grandparents weddings and display them in a large photo screen
at the reception. Don't forget to include small inserts that tell
your guests who these people are! |

Fill the room with balloons in your wedding
colors. Balloons are much less expensive than flowers and create
a naturally festive atmosphere! |

Create different table decorations for
each reception table following a theme from the bride and grooms
past - a college theme for when they met, a winter theme for their
first ski trip, etc. |
